Join us and the LPGA Amateur Golf Association of Madison as we co-host our second LPGA Amateur Charity Golf Outing benefiting the Foundation for Black Women's Wellness! We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at our NEW location, the Legend at Bergamont in Oregon, WI!
We hosted our first event in 2023, bringing together 123 golfers and raising $25,000 through sponsorships and golfer donations to support the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness’ Black Maternal & Child Health Initiatives as we work to eliminate life-threatening health and birth disparities.
Yes, you can register as an individual golfer for the event. If you do not indicate a specific list of golfers to be paired with at the time of registration, our team will assign you to a group of other individual registrants. This is a great opportunity for a new and memorable experience on the course, building connections and enjoying the game together.
The shotgun time for the event is set for 10:00 am. We recommend arriving by 8:00 am to allow time for check-in, warm-up, and networking. The duration of the golf outing is expected to be approximately 8 hours, concluding around 5:00 pm.
Yes, the event welcomes golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. We will also have exciting on-course activities and raffles planned to add even more fun and competition to the day. It will be a great day to enjoy the game of golf, network, and support Black women’s health!
As a top-ranked Wisconsin public golf course, and a representative of the University of Wisconsin, University Ridge asks that all guests wear collared shirts and refrain from wearing denim, gym shorts, and cutoffs.
The funds raised will be used to support The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness’ Black Maternal and Child Health initiatives. Your participation and contributions will help drive positive change, promote women's wellness, and empower a generation of Well Black Women.
Your interest in supporting our cause is deeply appreciated, even if you cannot attend the event. Every donation is vital to our effort to improve the health of women, mothers, and children in our community. By contributing, you enable us to sponsor women golfers from our local community facing financial constraints, ensuring their participation in support of our cause. Please make your donation at www.ffbww.org/donate.
