Marcella is a dedicated health and health administrative professional with more than 15 years of experience. She currently serves as a Tobacco Cessation Manager in the Department of Population Health at UW Health and leads this work in collaboration with the Center For Tobacco Research Institute (CTRI). She has nearly a decade of combined experience as a Community Health worker, bedside expertise as a medical assistant, and has worked in numerous health administration roles. Before her current leadership role, Marcella excelled as a Community Health Worker leveraging her experience to improve the infant and maternal outcomes for African American birthing patients in Dane County.
