It is with great excitement we announce our collaboration on this year's LPGA Amateur Charity Golf Outing, co-hosted by the LPGA Amateur Golf Association of Madison, WI, and benefitting the Foundation for Black Women's Wellness!
By joining forces, we aim to raise crucial funds to support our Black Maternal and Child Health Initiatives which support Black mothers and their babies to experience healthier births and more stable lives, while combatting Wisconsin's alarming racial birth disparities and Black infant mortality rate.
We look forward to the 2023 LPGA Amateur Golf Outing Fundraiser with great anticipation, knowing that it will be a resounding success with your support. Together, we will elevate the mission and amplify our efforts to create a community where all women are healthy, thriving, and free!
Yes, you can register as an individual golfer for the event. If you do not indicate a specific list of golfers to be paired with at the time of registration, our team will assign you to a group of other individual registrants. This is a great opportunity for a new and memorable experience on the course, building connections and enjoying the game together.
The shotgun time for the event is set for 10:00 am. We recommend arriving by 8:00 am to allow time for check-in, warm-up, and networking. The duration of the golf outing is expected to be approximately 8 hours, concluding around 5:00 pm.
Yes, the event welcomes golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players. We will also have exciting on-course activities and raffles planned to add even more fun and competition to the day. It will be a great day to enjoy the game of golf, network, and support Black women’s health!
As a top-ranked Wisconsin public golf course, and a representative of the University of Wisconsin, University Ridge asks that all guests wear collared shirts and refrain from wearing denim, gym shorts, and cutoffs.
The funds raised will be used to support The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness’ Black Maternal and Child Health initiatives. Your participation and contributions will help drive positive change, promote women's wellness, and empower a generation of Well Black Women.
Your interest in supporting our cause is deeply appreciated, even if you cannot attend the event. Every donation is vital to our effort to improve the health of women, mothers, and children in our community. By contributing, you enable us to sponsor women golfers from our local community facing financial constraints, ensuring their participation in support of our cause.
