Jasmine M. Jones is the founder and CEO of Amir’s Angels where she provides birth doula services to mothers in her community. Amir’s Angels is named in remembrance to Jasmine’s late infant son Amir. Jasmine began her research of becoming a trained birth doula in 2019 after her second son was born. Jasmine has been dedicated in social work and providing case management services in the non profit sector for 5 years. Jasmine obtained a double bachelors of Science majors of Law Enforcement and Justice administration and Sociology at Western Illinois University. As a well as being a doula, Jasmine also works as a breast feeding peer counselor with WIC of Dane County. Jasmine’s purpose work is to help combat the high mortality rate with black mothers and black infants, and made the decision in 2022 to be really dedicated in her purpose work by becoming a birth doula full time.
