Haley Howard is a rising third-year Health Science major on the pre-medical track attending Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Hailing from the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., Haley has witnessed growing disparities in healthcare as a result of gentrification and redlining. From a young age, this sparked her passion for medicine and improving health outcomes for marginalized communities. Following her matriculation at Spelman, Haley aspires to enter medical school to become an internal medicine physician. She is a strong proponent of providing proactive medical care to prevent future, more drastic, health emergencies. She is excited to spend her summer with The Foundation for Black Women's Wellness and learn about the ways they are positively changing health outcomes for Black women and their families in Wisconsin and beyond.
