Promise is a Beloit native and an ambitious student beginning her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, with plans to transfer to the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse to pursue a degree in Nuclear Medicine. Thanks to earning approximately 50 college credits through her high school's STEM Academy dual-enrollment program, she is well ahead in her academic journey and expects to begin her specialized coursework after completing just one year of general education requirements.

Promise's participation in the STEM Academy also opened the door to her involvement with MAYDM through the program's partnership, further strengthening her passion for science, technology, and healthcare.

After becoming a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and gaining hands-on clinical experience, Promise plans to attend medical school with the goal of becoming a Nuclear Medicine Physician. She aspires to study at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee.

As an intern with the Foundation for Black Women's Wellness, Promise is excited to explore innovative ideas, collaborate with community leaders, and contribute to initiatives that improve the health and well-being of the communities the Foundation serves. She looks forward to learning, growing, and making a meaningful impact through her work with the organization.
